Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has constituted a committee to be headed by Senior Advisor to CM Punjab Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa to formulate a comprehensive plan for energy conservation in government offices. The committee will soon present a report in this regard, disclosed an official here on Monday.
Presiding over a meeting, the Chief Minister said people are facing serious problems due to load-shedding, which is also adversely affecting agriculture, industries and other sectors. He said the government officers and departments should not consider themselves above the crisis and for this purpose, a strategy is being evolved to save electricity in government offices. Senior Adviser to CM Punjab Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, Chief Secretary and Home Secretary were present in the meeting.
