UN report on BB murder: FIR against Musharraf after concrete evidence, says Rehman
Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Monday said the government would lodge an FIR against former President Pervez Musharraf after attaining concrete evidence in view of the United Nation's inquiry report which held Musharraf government responsible for failing to provide security to the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Talking to media here, Rehman said the issue is being reviewed by legal exerts for lodging an FIR against the former head of the State if concrete evidence is attained. The minister said present government was not satisfied with the investigation of the Punjab government and permission has been taken from the Prime Minister to start a fresh investigation after informing the court. He said the efficient officers are conducting inquiry into the BB's assassination and hoped that there would be a significant breakthrough in this regard.
