National Commission on Status of Women (NCSW) will hold a round-table consultation on compliance of "Protection Against Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2010" on April 22. The objective of this consultation is to bring all the key stakeholders onboard and come up with step by step recommendations for the implementation of the law in its full spirit.
Media has also been asked to join hands to aware people from all walks of life to comply with the law to provide a dignified work environment to employees and coming generation. The harassment at workplace act 2010 makes it incumbent for every ministry, its departments, semi-autonomous and autonomous bodies as well as privately registered companies, businesses and industries to adopt a code of conduct and form three-member committee to address all complaints of sexual harassment.
