The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notice for April 21 in response to a petition filed against Nazir Jatt, former PML-Q MNA, Vehari, for having fake BA degree. The petitioner Sajid Mahi contended that the respondent was not even FA but he got a fake degree of BA and under the directions of the Supreme Court he had resigned from the seat and now he is contesting by-election from the same constituency again.
The petitioner contended that under Article 62 and 63 of the constitution respondent has become disqualified from contesting any election. The petitioner therefore prayed to the court to declare him disqualified from contesting election. The court after hearing the petitioner counsel at length issued notice to the respondent and called for record till next date of hearing.
