Commissioner Tahir Hussain has directed the heads of non-devolved provincial departments to ensure merit and transparency in recruitment process of grade 1 to 5 posts in their respective departments. He asked them to follow the instructions, rules and regulations given by Punjab government in this regard and implement them in letter and in spirit.
He issued these directions while chairing a meeting held here on Monday to review the pace of recruitment process and other relevant matters. Addressing the meeting, commissioner said that complaints and objections put forward by candidates during the process should be dealt with as per instructions and must be resolved immediately. He further said that no laxity, irregularity and violation would be tolerated at any cost and strict action would be taken against the officials found involved in any kind of wrongdoing.
Additional Commissioner Sher Bahadar, Director Colleges Rana Munawar Khan, Chairman BISE Syed Mumtaz Hussain Shah, DG Agriculture (Research) Dr Nurul Islam, MS Allied Hospital Dr Rana Bashir, MS FIC Dr Abdul Rauf, SE Public Health Syed Mehmud Hussain, SE Provincial Buildings Ghazanfar Hussain, XEN Buildings GA Farooq and others concerned were also present in the meeting.
