Progress on 282 development schemes reviewed

The progress of work on 282 development schemes, allotted to the provincial Buildings, Provincial Highways, Public Health Engineering, FDA and Wasa were reviewed in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Tahir Hussain here the other day.
SEs, DOPs and other concerned officers attended the meeting. The chair directed the divisional heads of nation building department of Faisalabad Division for the completion of ongoing development project by June 30, 2010.
The commissioner also directed the concerned officers to allot the work order of those schemes which have been approved by the competent authorities and works on the schemes being executed under the missing facilities should also be completed till June 30 2010 and 100 percent utilisation of funds in this regard should be achieved.
The chair also issued directions regarding completion of incomplete work on those projects which had been initiated under CCB programme. He also directed to award works on 294 development projects which have been approved under MPA package.
The commissioner also directed the divisional heads of nation building departments to solve the matters of payment against the completed works of development projects. If they feel any complication and hurdle in this regard the matter should be taken up to the higher provincial authority for early payment in this regard, he said.
