Malaysian thieves who stole a car on the outskirts of the capital Kuala Lumpur quickly returned the vehicle, complete with a written apology, after realising it belonged to the local police chief. The thieves made off with the car on Thursday while Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar's driver was having his breakfast.
It turned up two days later with a hand-written note on the dashboard reading "Sorry police, wrong target," the Sunday Star newspaper reported. "The car was in good condition with only minor damage to the lock on the front left door," it quoted deputy police chief Khaw Kok Chin as saying.
