Three persons were killed and two other injured in remote control blast near Shamshato Afghan refugees' camp, some 30 kilometers in east of the provincial metropolis. According to police the bomb went off on roadside at Urmar village near Shamshato camp where a large number of Afghan refugees are still residing.
The camp was once the largest camp of Afghan refugees where important Afghan leaders used to live. The victims were stated to be students of religious seminary. The injured were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar where an emergency was declared. After the blast, police cordoned off the area and started investigation.
