Wheat futures fell early at the Chicago Board of Trade on Thursday, touching their lowest level since April 26, on pressure from a firm dollar and plentiful supplies, traders said. At 9:37 am CDT (1437 GMT), CBOT July soft red winter wheat was down 7-1/2 cents at $4.84 a bushel.
July corn down 2 cent at $3.76-1/4 a bushel. July soyabeans up 2 cents at $9.67-1/2 per bushel; new-crop November up 1/2 cent at $9.38. Tight cash markets support old-crop contracts versus new crop months. Soya prices also receive support as crude oil pares losses. USDA said 474,600 tonnes US soya sold for export last week, near the low end of estimates for 450,000 to 650,000 tonnes. Deliveries on May 65 lots.
