Muhammad Shan Gull Law Associates has filed a petition before Lahore High Court (LHC) against Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for terminating its services as legal advisor of the board. Muhammad Aftab Gull, head of the law firm, submitted that the PCB hired their legal services for a period of three years in 2008 and a contract was signed between the two parties.
However, he said, the chairman PBC Ijaz Butt terminated the contract in December 2009 without explaining any reason to the law firm. Gull prayed the court to declare the said act of the PCB as illegal and order the board authorities to restore their services.
