The Swiss franc on Friday hovered close to a record high against the euro hit in the previous session as worries about the European debt crisis continued to weigh on the common currency. On Friday, the franc was within a hair's breadth of its all-time high hit on Thursday at 1.4000 according to Reuters data, trading at 1.4015. The franc rose slightly against the dollar compared to the New York close, trading at 1.1165 per dollar.
