Rani Mukerji loses her loved one
Actress Rani Mukerji's father Ram Mukerji died in Mumbai on Sunday. He was aged 84. The director/producer was not keeping well since long time and was admitted to hospital.
“He was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital from October 13 and his treatment was going on. Unfortunately, his body was not responding to the treatment that well this time. Last night, his blood pressure suddenly dropped around 5 a.m. He is no more, everything is finished,” Ram Mukherji's widow Krishna said in an interview to an Indian media.
He produced Rani's debut film ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat’ in 1997 and directed Hindi films like ‘Hum Hindustani’.

Many Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan, Anil Kapoor and many others were spotted at Ram Mukerji’s residence for his last rites.
A statement issued on behalf of the family read, “Ram Mukerji, respected film-maker, beloved father and husband, is no more. He passed away on October 22 at 6 a.m. due to natural causes. Close friends and family attended his quiet funeral at 2 p.m. on Sunday. He will be sorely missed by his wife Krishna Mukerji, daughter Rani Mukerji, son Raja Mukerji and the rest of the family.”
