Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) opened the exit door for 3 players on Sunday when it announced 22 players for the national under-14 soccer team to appear in the AFC U-14 Festival of Football (South Asia Region), to be played in Iran from 19th-23rd May.
The PFF has assigned coaches working under Asian Football Confederation (AFC)'s AID-27 Financial Assistance Scheme - Hassan Baloch and GK coach Noman Ibrahim - to look after the school-level boys while Asghar Khan Anjum of PEL will act as manager.
The National U-14 team is comprised of following 22 players: Goal keepers (2): Usman Khan, Syed Hassan Mujtaba; Defenders (8): Malik Dilshad Ahmed, Muneer Ahmed , Sajjad Ali, Shahbaz Masih, Zafar Ahmed, Imtiaz Masih, Tanzeel Ishfaq, Babar Faiz; Midfielders (6): Raza Ali, Hassan Pervaiz, Haider Ali, Mohammad Zeeshan, Bilal Asghar, Mohammad Sohail; Strikers : (6): Mudassar Iqbal, Mohammad Bilal, Ashfaq uddin, Mohamamd Younas Saeed, Rashid Noor, Mohammad Umer Hayat.
Pakistan will be among the nine participants including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and host Iran. On the sidelines of the Festival, an AFC 'C' Coaching License and Referees Courses will be held apart from a workshop for the teams' coaches.
