Much to the delight of students, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has agreed to provide various universities and colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) with Wi-Fi hotspots.

PTCL joined hands with KPK’s Ministry of Science, technology and IT while signing an agreement to provide Wi-Fi hotspot solutions with high-speed internet connections for excellent connectivity services in University of Peshawar (UoP) along with 25 other colleges in the province.

This move shows that the KPK government is moving a step forward towards providing modern tools of digital connectivity to educational institutions. This technology will allow students and faculty of higher education institutions to get speedy PTCL broadband internet access over Wi-Fi. Making research and obtaining digital content will be made much easier, reported Pro Pakistani.

Li-Fi, a technology 100 times faster than Wi-Fi
