Activity slows down on grain market

Modest trading was seen on the local grain market on Wednesday as most of the items were unchanged due to balanced demand and supply position, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old and new was down by Rs 10 to Rs 2350-2365, other items did not show any change in process of trading, they said.
On the grams side guwar Sindh maintained rising trend, gaining Rs 50 to Rs 4000-4100. Guwar Punjab also rose by the same amount to Rs 3950-4050, they said. On the seeds side cottonseed oilcake with bag was higher at Rs 1060-1070, they added.
