Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth take over iconic Burj Khalifa
Superstars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar are on a roll these days, as they aren’t leaving any stone unturned for the promotion of their upcoming movie ‘Robot 2.0’. Recently, they took over famous Burj Khalifa for the promotion gimmick.
2.0 audio launch event will take place today. Movie cast Akshay, Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson, along with director Shankar and music director A R Rahman, have already made their way to Dubai. They will be staying at Burj Khalifa, where the 2.0 audio launch will also take place. Team 2.0 has zeroed in Burj Khalifa as the venue for tonight's event. While the plush Burj Gardens is prepping for the big night, the building will be lit up with Rajinikanth's photo, Indian media reported.

A budget of Indian Rs120 million has been reportedly allotted for the launch event alone. According to reports, LED screens worth a whopping Indian Rs20 million will be displayed at shopping malls in Dubai for the live relay of the event. The King of Dubai is expected to grace this audio launch event as well.

The notoriously media-shy actor, Rajinikanth, does not participate actively in the press conferences and such promotional events, but Akshay, who plays a villain in 2.0, made up for it. Akshay, along with Amy and A R Rehman, will also perform live during the event.
