Apple’s video editing software Final Cut Pro to have VR support

Apple recently announced that its video editing software Final Cut Pro will support virtual reality (VR) and HDR workflow in its new update.

The announcement was made at the Final Cut Pro X Creative Summit in California where the new updated software Final Cut Pro 10.4 was experience by video professionals.

A plugin developer Alex Gollner showed through Twitter that the Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) is arriving with new features. He posted videos demonstrating VR support and the iOS iMovie.

Apple might introduce a stylus for iPhone

The primary feature is the support for true VR video. The software’s timeline has been updated to support VR footage such as clip orientation, with compatibility for two various display feeds, reports Tech Juice.

Other features include HDR workflow support, auto white picker, custom LUT loading, color wheels, direct import of iOS iMovie timeline and enhanced color tools. Also, users with the latest launched iPhones can open 4K HEVC (H.265) footages in their software timelines.

Apple, however, has not yet informed final release date of the FCPX but it is expected to be launched by the end of 2017 and Apple will soon reveal more about the update, according to Apple Insider.
