LHC Administration Committee issues final show cause notice

The Lahore High Court (LHC) Administration Committee (AC) has issued final show cause notice for dismissal from service to Additional District and Sessions Judge (AD&SJ) Shahid Hussain Chaudhry. The committee initiate disciplinary proceedings against District and Sessions Judge and Chairman Drug Court Multan Shahid Rafique Sheikh.
The committee also issued notice for enhancement of minor penalty into one of the major penalties to civil judges Akram-ul-Haq Chaudhry and Saeed Ahmad Awan and imposed minor penalty of withholding of two annual increments for a period of two years upon civil judge Bahawalpur Alam Sher. The committee also allow AD&SJ Abdul Razzaq Bahawalpur to retire from service.
