The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Monday announced election schedule for year 2010-11. As per LCCI Executive Committee's decision, election for 7 seats of Corporate Class and 8 seats of Associate Class will be held on September 20 and 21 respectively. Polling will be held from 9 am to 5 pm with one-hour lunch and prayer break. Provisional results of the election will be announced the same day.
Lists of voters will be displayed on August 21, nomination papers will be received on August 25 and final list of candidates will be displayed on September 16. Meanwhile, election for office-bearers will be held on September 25th. Final results will be announced on September 28 in the annual general meeting.
