Gaming company launches phone good enough for everyone
The famous gaming company Razer is getting into smartphone business and has manufactured a phone meant for video games as well as for normal users.
Razer is the company known for making high-powered gaming laptops and now it has created the phone it calls ‘Razer Phone’ with amazing specifications specifically meant for gamers but also good enough for non-gamers.
The announcement was made on Wednesday and it is assumed that the phone can outdo iPhone X, Pixel 2, and Samsung’s Galaxy devices in terms of performance and the price range. The phone comes with a price tag of $700, which is much cheaper than many other top smartphones.

The phone has a 5.7-inch HD screen with latest Snapdragon 835 processor running on Android Nougat and 8GB RAM – equivalent to the amount of memory available in many PCs – and 64GB inbuilt storage with the ability to expand through a microSD card. The phone comes in all-aluminum case with a huge 4,000mAh battery life and fast charging. Razer Phone has dual front-facing speakers with each one containing its own amplifier. Apart from that, the phone has dual-lens rear camera with each lens of 12MP and 8MP front camera. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the power button of the device located at the side, informed Business Insider.
The company claims that the user can watch movies for 12.5 hours, listen to music for 63.5 hours and games for 7 hours just on a single charge.
According to Razer’s CEO Min-Liang Tan, the device’s 120-hertz ultra-fast refresh rate – the rate only present in iPad Pro which Apple calls it to be ‘the most advanced display on the plant’ – will avoid motion lag, ghosting and stuttering. However, there are still few traits that the phone lacks including being water resistant, OLED screen, wireless charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack, but there is a USB C to 3.5mm converter with the phone to overcome it.
As per Engadget, the phone will officially be launched by November 17.
