Unknown gunmen Tuesday here killed a senior official of Bajaur Levy and injuring a passer-by at Tehsil Khar, officials said. Senior official of Bajaur Levy, Sirajul Haq was performing duty at Yusufabad, four kilometer of Bajaur Agency's headquarters Khar, when unknown outlaws ambushed him at 10.30am. Resultantly, he sustained critical bullet injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment where he expired.
A passer-by also wounded and was admitted at Khar headquarters hospital where his condition was stated to be out of danger. No group has claimed responsibility of the murder. Soon after the incident, the security forces cordoned-off the area and arrested three suspects during search operation.
