Seven members of a family gunned down in Jaffarabad

Seven persons of a family including children and a woman have been shot dead while three others injured in an attack on Tuesday in Tehsil Suhbatpur of district Jaffarabad. Police told that unidentified gunmen entered house of the family forcibly and opened fire at them, killing seven persons on the spot and injuring three others.
Later, the assailants fled from the scene. The police said that deceased included a woman Malka and five children named Mashooq, Lakhna and Fazloo and others while the injured were identified as Ashiq, Akash and a woman Miraa. The police said that total eight assailants equipped with latest weapons committed this heinous crime. The bodies and the injured have been shifted to the hospital. Later, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to the heirs after autopsy.
