KARACHI: Shimza Tahir, Bismina, Sheeza Sajid and Esha Jawad qualified for the semifinals of girls U-18 singles event in McDonalds National Junior Tennis Championships 2017 at Pakistan Sports Complex tennis courts in Islamabad.
Bismina had to fight hard to eliminate Roma Akbar in three sets.
Bismina won the match by 7-5, 4-6, 7-6(3) score.
In another good match of this category, Sheeza Sajid beat Sadia Qaza in a two-set match by 7-6(5), 6-1 score.
In the boys U-14 event, Sami Zaib, Hasheesh Kumar, Hamid Israr and Abdul Hanan moved into the semifinals after beating their respective opponents in straight sets.
