ISE index down by 0.40 points

Mixed trend was witnessed at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed normal business under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 0.40 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,609.84 to 2,610.24 points. The overall turnover amounted to 78,300 shares as compared to previous turnover of 152,571 shares.
Total 162 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (107) closed in negative territory, 55 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 22,000 shares. The volume of Byco Petroleum was 17,000 shares. The turnover of Bank Al Falah was 9,800 shares.
