The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) is giving free education to as many as 13349 deserving students of Southern Punjab under New School Programme (NSP). Under the NSP, a monthly grant of Rs 46 lakh and 72 thousand is being provided to the 129 partner schools.
This was stated in a meeting of Punjab Education Foundation, which held in the PEF Board-Room with Chairman PEF Raja Muhammad Anwar in the Chair. PEF MD Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, DMD (Operations) Tanveer Ahmad Zafar, DMD (Finance) Salman Anwar Malik, Project Officer (NSP) Hassan Javed and other Officers were also present in the meeting. The meeting held a detailed assessment of the PEF programmes in the Southern Punjab.
