Karan Johar reveals Shah Rukh Khan had an attitude problem
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently celebrated his 52nd birthday like a true king that he is, but his long time best friend and filmmaker Karan Johar has made some revelations about the superstar’s attitude problems.
On a promotional event of the co-produced upcoming movie, ‘Ittefaq’, Shah Rukh and Karan were talking to the media when Karan spoke about his first meeting with SRK. “I had gone to meet director Anand Mahendroo to audition for his show ‘Indraprastha’. Since Aanand was busy shooting, I had to wait for four long hours, I noticed a gentleman sitting right opposite me on a sofa. He waited patiently, but he kept sipping tea one after the other after small intervals,” Karan said, Deccan Chronicles reported.
“Literally after waiting for about four hours, I could see a ray of light, as Anand walked out of his shooting zone. He passed me and went up to this gentleman and said, ‘Thodi der ho gayi hai’ [it got a little late]. For Anand, four hours time was just a short time of wait,” he sneered.
He continued, “However, to my surprise, this gentleman got up from his sofa and said ‘Nahi nahi koi baat nahi [no, no it was nothing]. I love the tea in your office. It is really delicious, and thus I could relish and gulp a few cups. But I waited only because I wanted to tell you that I will not be able to participate in this show. Thanks a lot’.”
Murder case to be registered against Shah Rukh Khan
Karan says Anand was shocked, “He said ‘You stayed back just to inform me you wouldn’t be doing this show?’ The gentleman walked away. Anand told me I was on. A little while later he said ‘Did you see his [SRK’s] attitude? He’s done only one TV show, ‘Fauji’ and carries a lot of attitude. Iska kuch nahi hone waala’[nothing is going to happen for him].”
Karan and SRK’s joint production, ‘Ittefaq’ will hit the silver screens on November 3rd, 2017. The movie cast includes Sonakshi Sinha, Akshaye Khanna and Siddharth Malhotra.
