Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited PML-N leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi at General Hospital here on Sunday. He stayed with Hashmi for some time and got briefing regarding his health from senior doctors. Chief Executive General Hospital Professor Dr Tariq Sallah-ud-Din was present on the occasion.
Later, talking to the media, the Chief Minister said that by grace of Allah, Javed Hashmi was recovering and being shifted to Islamabad. Talking about flood situation and relief activities in the province, he said that all resources were being utilised for providing relief to flood affected people. He said they would not sit back till the resettlement of affected people and praised army for co-operating in the relief activities.
