The executive committee of the Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) has unanimously elected its chairman Sohail Naseem on the board of trustees of the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) for the term 2010-2012 commencing from 01-07-2010.
According to the KCA here on Monday, the committee in its meeting held on 29-06-2010 has nominated Sohail Naseem in response to the KPT's fax message dated 23-06-2010 addressed to this association and copy endorsed to the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ports and Shipping, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad.
The nomination of the Chairman, the KCA on the Board of Trustees of the KPT for the term 2010-2012 was forwarded to the Ministry of Ports and Shipping, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad with a copy to the Secretary, KPT, Karachi vide letter No KCA-KPT/64-A/739 dated 29-06-2010.
Sohail Naseem, Chairman, the KCA is a leading exporter of Raw Cotton in Pakistan. He has been elected as Vice-Chairman of this Association in the year 2002-03, 2004-05 and 2006-07. He has been serving as Member of Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry and travelled all over the world.-PR
