Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday announced 14-member Pakistan women team for ICC Women Cricket Challenge being played from October 3-18 in South Africa. Selection Committee consisting Farrukh Zaman as its Chairman and Azhar Khan and Ehtasham-ud-Din member named the side after watching the players int rials matches held at Lahore Country Club, Muridke.
Sana Mir will lead the side and Marina Iqbal will be her deputy. The other team members are Syeda Nain Fatima, Bismah Maroof, Marriam Hassan Shah, Javeria Wadood, Nida Rashid Dar, Kanwal Naz, Nahida Khan, Syed Batook Fatima (keeper), Shumaila Qureshi, Asmavia Iqbal Khokhar, Kainat Imtiaz and Sania Iqbal Khan. The four reserve players are, Sidra Amin, Masooma Junaid Farooqi, Rabiya Shah and Sana Gulzar.
