Missing persons' release: lawyers, civil society to launch caravan on August 7

A caravan of lawyers and representatives of civil society will march to Islamabad on foot to press their demand for release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui and all missing persons. Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) and Lahore Tax Bar Association announced this in a joint press conference, held here Thursday at LHCBA premises.
While announcing the schedule of caravan, Secretary SCBA Raja Zulqurnain said it would leave for federal capital on August 7 at 11 am from GPO Chowk and reach its destiny on August 14 and present a memorandum to government officials in front of parliament building.
