Two children were killed while one sustained injuries when roof of a house collapsed at Tarpapain located in the vicinity of Union Council Bahbeer Kund here on Saturday. Three children were in a house of Gull Hassan when roof of the house fell on them, resulted in killing two on the spot, while the third one received multiple injuries. The injured was shifted to district headquarters hospital.
The local people rushed to the scene and recovered the bodies of the children from the rubble and shifted them to hospital. The dead were identified as Sadiq Ali (10) and Shakeela (11), while the condition of injured Sabeela (8) is stated to be out of danger. According to reports, the incident of wall collapse occurred due to heavy rains that hit many parts of the district damaging the infrastructure of several villages besides affecting a large number of people living in this part of the region.
