Police have finalised special security measures for the Holy month of Ramazan while 200 commandos of police force would also be deployed in the city, said DPO Hyderabad Munir Ahmed Shaikh. In a news release issued here on Friday, the DPO said that besides the measures like snap checking, patrolling of 40 commandos along with usual police patrolling, four high towers had also been set up where police shooters would be deployed.
Police personnel would be deputed at all markets, shopping centres, mosques and other important points besides hidden CCTV cameras would be installed at sensitive points, he added. The DPO further said that leaves of the policemen had been cancelled for the month of Ramazan. He added that volunteers at mosques would conduct body checks and people would be barred from taking mobile phones in the mosques while ladies police would be deployed for the checking of women.
