Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed all administrative staff and police officers including divisional commissioners to pay their full attention to the relief and rehabilitation of persons affected by flood and there was no need to accompany him during his visits to flood-hit areas. This direction of the chief minister was revealed in information of DGPR received here on Wednesday.
The chief minister said that only those officers should be present during his visits who were practically engaged in relief activities at local level whereas other officers should continue relief activities at their respective areas.
