The Site Association of Industry (SAI) is expecting that more than 100 stalls will be set up to provide goods on 10 to 25 percent discount in Eid Bachat Bazaar. Annual event of Site Association Eid Bachat Bazaar is scheduled to be held from August 18 to August 30, 2010 to facilitate industrial workers and their families to get products at factory price or even less to celebrate Eid.
Organiser, of Bachat Bazaar, Rauf A Sattar said that over 100 stalls will be stet up offering different products including food products, garments, crockery, bangles, cosmetics, shoes, artificial jewellery, decorating items, cloth, blankets, knitwear, hosiery, facial uplifting products, perfumes, scents, shampoo, hair oils, electronic appliances, durable plastic furniture, kitchen items, foot wears, rice, pulses, syrups/juices and soft drinks, confectionery, chocolates, nimco, edible oils, dry fruits, canned foods, tea, beverages, honey sauces, home textile, bed wears, towels etc. Mobiles companies are also setting up their stalls.
Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has consented to inaugurate the Bazaar on August 19. The SAI has been holding Eid Bachat Bazaar for the last 16 years and this will be the 17th event to be held at Site Stadium Chairman of the association, Salim Parekh said that prices of goods have gone up considerably during the last few months and added that holding this Bachat Bazaar is a little efforts of the association to sell the consumer products at cheaper rates during the Holy month of Ramadan. He urged the industrialists of the city to come forward and establish stalls of their products in the Buchat Bazaar to have a share of facilitating people to get product at discounted rates and celebrate Eid with joy.
