More than 150 pumps and filling stations have no stock of fuel owing to the irregular supply of petroleum products by oil companies due to recent floods. On the fourth consecutive day, long queues of vehicles were seen at the filling stations, which limited the sale of petrol to Rs 100 for each motorist.
Taking advantage of the situation, some black marketers are selling petrol at the rate of Rs 100 per litre, while in the flood affected areas of Chiniot, Jhang, Shorkot and Athara Hazzari, the situation is even worse with the selling rate touching Rs 150 per litre mark.
