The after tax loss of Royal Bank of Scotland Limited (RBS Pakistan) has increased to Rs 2.073 billion in the half year period ended June 30, 2010 as compared to Rs 0.840 billion recorded in the corresponding period in 2009. The board of directors of the bank, in its meeting held here on Wednesday, declared that the bank's loss per share has increased to Rs 1.21 in the period under review against Re 0.52 in the same period a year back.
According to the financial results sent to Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), the bank's loss before taxation increased to Rs 2.005 billion against Rs 0.678 billion.
