Small business was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Tuesday as many traders did not take interest in new purchasing due to higher rates, dealers said. On the cereal side, gur low type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 7400 while the best type lost Rs 400 to Rs 7600 in process of low business. Khandsari was registered at Rs 8500, they said.
A solo deal was seen on the seeds side, til low type shed Rs 200 to Rs 4200 while the inferior type did not show any change at Rs 3800, they said. Only one change was seen on the rice sector, where Irri-6 low type was up by Rs 75 to Rs 2900 and good type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 2925, other items maintained the overnight levels, they said.
