Punjab University Examination Department has declared the result of B.Com Part-II Annual Examination 2010. A total number of 39,944 male and female candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 21,730 have been declared successful. The overall pass percentage in B.Com part-II examination this year is 54.40 percent.
Out of a total number of 11,727 female candidates, as many as 7,861 girls passed the examination and as such their percentage comes to 67.03 percent. As against this, a total number of 28,217 boys appeared in the examination and only 13,869 could qualify the examination with a pass percentage of 49.15 percent.
Similarly, from Lahore only, 8,957 boys appeared in the B.Com part-II examination this year, out of which 4,409 have been declared pass with a success percentage of 49.22 percent. As compared to this, out of a total number of 4,183 girls, 2729 girls have passed the examination and their success rate is 65.24 percent.
Out of a total number of 13,140 boys and girls who appeared in the exam from Lahore, as many as 7,138 have been declared successful, with a pass percentage of 54.32 percent. The B.Com part-II exam was held in the month of June last and Punjab University Examination Department declared the result in a record short period of one month and three weeks.
