KARACHI: Twelve-hour power suspension to different areas of Sindh and Balochistan provinces ended on Monday, when the Wapda engineers restored all high transmission lines of the Guddu Thermal Power Station that had gone tripped due to dense smog.
Power supply to some areas of Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Rahimyar Khan, Jaffarabad and other areas of Sindh and Balochistan was suspended due to the tripping of high-tension cables but after hectic efforts of 12 hours the problem was resolved and 1750mw electricity added to the system.
