Islamabad Police in its operation against outlaws have arrested nine persons including four women for their alleged involvement in dacoity, theft and drug trafficking, recovering a huge quantity of drugs, ammunition and other looted and stolen commodities from their possession.
According to Islamabad Police spokesman the operation was kicked off in different areas and resultantly nine outlaws were arrested. Police recovered two 32 bore revolvers, two 30 bore pistols and 12 rounds, 400 gram heroin, 1.750 kilogram hashish, mobile phone, gold ornaments, Rs 180,000 cash from the detained outlaws.
Tarnol Police arrested two lady drug pushers Mamalah Bibi and Haroona Bibi during routine patrolling and recovered 1.750 kilogram hashish and 400 gram heroin from them respectively. Shalimar Police arrested an accused Muhammad Bilal and recovered mobile phone, gold ornaments, cash Rs 100,000 from him, which he had snatched from Nusrat Bibi. The accused has confessed committing several dacoities during the initial investigation.
Industrial Area Police arrested two accused Rabia and Alisha for their alleged involvement in theft case and recovered stolen gold bangles worth Rs 80,000 from them. Margallah Police arrested an accused Shehzad and recovered two 32 bore revolvers.
Shalimar police officials arrested an accused Bilal in possession of 30 bore pistol and five rounds. Shehzad Town Police recovered one 30 bore pistol, 3 rounds, 32 bore revolver and four rounds from possession of Riaz Khan and Aman Ullah. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
