Two Nato soldiers were killed Monday in separate incidents in Afghanistan, increasing the total casualties among international troops this month to 41, the military said. One of the soldiers was killed in an attack in the south of the country while another one died following a bomb attack in the north, the statement said.
Roadside bombs are the weapon of choice of the Taliban insurgency across the country, and have claimed the most fatalities among the Western troops. The latest deaths came after four US soldiers were killed in attacks by militants on Sunday.
