Ministry of Law and Justice on Thursday removed Deputy Attorney General Agha Tariq Mehmood from his office. When contacted, the Attorney General office confirmed the issuance of notification of Tariq's removal. Sources in the ministry said that the ministry was not satisfied with his performance. Tariq was rendering his services in the capacity of DAG for the last two years.
He represented the federal government in many cases in the apex court.
