Power shortfall reduces to nil?

Power shortfall reduced to nil during last 24 hours putting demand and supply parallel to 13836MW. Pakistan Electric Power Company (Pepco) sources said power generation through hydel was recorded at 6426MW, followed by 2250MW through thermal, 5098MW through IPPs and 62NW through RPPs. Meanwhile, power supply to KESC was recorded at 710MW.
It may be noted that the consumers were quite furious a few days ago when the gap between demand and supply had widened to 3000MW with inundated power generation units in Multan region. Further salt to the consumers' injury was added with increase of 26 paisa in power tariff, making energy consumer costlier with every passing day.
