Hoisting of party flags at relief camps banned

All political parties have been banned from hoisting party flags and setting up relief camps inside the camps being run by District Government Hyderabad and Non Governmental Organisations in order to streamline the efforts to provide relief to the flood affected people without any discrimination.
The decision was taken here on Saturday at a meeting of District Relief Committee chaired by its chairman MNA Syed Ameer Ali Shah Jamot at DCO Camp Office. The meeting was attended by provincial ministers Zahid Ali Burgari and Syed Ali Nawaz Shah Rizvi, MPAs Pir Amjad Shah Jilani and Waseem Ahmed, DCO Aftab Ahmed Khatri, EDO Revenue Barkat Ahmed Rizvi and other concerned officials. Speaking on the occasion, the committee's chairman directed EDO Revenue to urgently arrange accommodation in Hyderabad's relief camps for the IDPs of Thatta and after their survey ensure provision of all facilities to them.
