The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Lahore has forecast hot and dry weather over most parts of the country, however, isolated thunder shower may occur over south-east Sindh. According to PMD officials here on Saturday, the weather would remain hot and dry over next two days. Meanwhile, for the consecutive two days the country mainly witnessed a hot and dry weather, apart from Mithi and Gwadar where 22 mm and 2 mm of rain was recorded, respectively.
The hottest place in Pakistan was Nokkundi where 43 Celsius degrees was recorded followed by Nawabshah where it was 41 Celsius degrees. The provincial capital also witnessed a hot day where maximum temperature recorded was 35.2 Celsius degrees. Meanwhile, as per the flood forecasting division, River Indus at Kotri is in exceptionally high flood, while River Indus at Guddu and Sukkur is in high flood. River Indus at Taunsa and River Kabul at Nowshera are in medium flood. River Indus at Kalabagh and Chashma, River Chenab at Trimmu and River Ravi at Balloki are in low flood.
