NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling was stable against the dollar on Tuesday, with traders saying they were watching in the long term for the outcome of presidential election petitions.
At 0912 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 103.55/75 per dollar, the same as Monday's close.
On Monday, a former lawmaker filed a petition at the Supreme Court challenging President Uhuru Kenyatta's second victory, in a last minute move that opened the door to legal scrutiny of the vote.
