Kenya's shilling held steady against the dollar on Friday in subdued trading ahead of the weekend, while stocks fell on the Nairobi Stock Exchange. The leading commercial banks quoted the shilling at 80.75/85 to the dollar, from 80.70/80 at Thursday's close. "The market has not moved. Dollar demand is not there, while the euro and pound have been stagnant on the international markets," said Pally Muchiri, a trader at Co-operative Bank.
