The funeral prayers of three National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) Senior Patrolling Officers (SPOs) Rana Imtiaz Hussain, Qasim Ahmed and Adnan Gull who died in a traffic accident on Monday while performing their duties were offered in their natives areas of Shaer Shah Colony Lahore, Raiwind Road and Sialkot.
DIG Syed Ibne Hussain, SSP Jehanzaib Jaogezai, SSP Aftab Mahsood and a large number of NH&MP officials and citizens attended the prayers. The martyred officers, in coffins covered with Pakistani and NH&MP flags, were given guards of honour. IG NH&MP Dr Wasim Kauser laid floral wreath on the coffins.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the martyred officers were dedicated and honest officers and their services would always be remembered. He added that the families of the martyred officers would be taken care of.
