The Ministry of Law and Justice will notify the new Prosecutor General of National Accountability Bureau next week, it is learnt. The spokesman of the Ministry confirmed that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday directed Law Secretary to implement court ruling, and issue notification to new Prosecutor General of NAB soon after Eid holidays.
However, the name of new prosecutor general is yet to be decided, the spokesman said. Meanwhile, it has been learnt that on the directives of the Prime Minister, the Law Ministry is withdrawing all privileges sanctioned to Irfan Qadir. It has been said that the Prime Minister taking notice of Irfan Qadir's defiance of the court order, ordered Law Secretary to withdraw perks and privileges.
