Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS) has decided to conduct houses, crops and livestock losses survey in the flood affected areas in the country shortly. "The survey would be conducted in collaboration with provincial departments of agriculture and livestock and to be completed within a month to provide exact date to the federal government about the losses to Houses, crops and livestock in the flood affected areas", Secretary Statistics Division Saeed Ahmed Khan told APP here on Wednesday.
He said that FBS has constituted teams for conducting the survey in the flood-affected areas in the country. "We are also preparing village maps to ascertain the exact losses to the houses and their number of their house olds", he remarked. The proposed survey after its completion would tally and compare the data with their previous surveys conducted which would provide the exact data of losses to houses, agriculture and live stock in the flood hit areas in the country.
